Internship at Vestjyske Dyrlæger

Have you been admitted to the veterinary programme, but feel that you do not get hands-on experience with live animals? Would you like to try your hand at life in practice before it all begins? Or are you simply unsure which specialisation to choose, and would like to explore the options in practice before you decide?

Then this is your opportunity to do an internship with us in West Jutland. If you come with an open mind and a desire to learn, we can offer you an excellent opportunity to apply yourself and your knowledge in “real life”. The increasingly limited practical training on the programme can make the transition to practice difficult. Here, you will have the opportunity to accompany one of our veterinarians in their day-to-day work—at the clinic, on advisory visits, and in emergency work.

You can do an internship throughout the year, either privately or as part of your studies. The DDD Cattle Professional Group supports students with a travel allowance for transport to Jutland. Through Dyrlæger & Ko, you can receive a contribution towards your accommodation costs in the local area.
