Travelling with pets

If you are planning to take your dog or cat across the country’s borders, please be aware that certain requirements apply. The requirements depend on the country you are travelling to and may include rabies vaccination, blood testing, a health examination, as well as deworming and tick treatment administered by the veterinarian.​

Please note that even if the country you are travelling to has fewer rules than the EU, your pet must comply with the EU travel rules in order to re-enter Denmark.​
